I took a poetry class at Montgomery College. It was really great, I can’t say it is a high bar to be the best poet in my community college beginning poetry class but uhhhhh I was :). Here’s two that I wrote in the class.

Me and Joanna's ceramics studio is doing a pinch pot project, which just means we're hand building instead of throwing on a wheel. Sophie and I participated and she made a bowl! and I made a little vase and a tile with a flower on it. Stay tuned for after shots once it's glazed. 

As you all know, I've been nurturing my sourdough started named Leslie and she really came through for me. This is the TALLEST my bread has ever been (it was probably due to the refrigerator door being propped ajar by accident overnight, but you never know)! 

Lastly, here's a delicious samosa pie that I made based on a recipe by Nadiya Hussain who is the most captivating and endearing person and was a winner on GBBO. Watch her if you haven't already. I also foisted it on Joanna and Tasnia and they said it was delicious (right?)!

Isn’t it ironic ... that I have a declared distaste of group chats and yet here I am, instead of sending a group text message, am hijacking this small corner of a Group Chat themed email newsletter to say I’m gonna be in MD 5/27–6/4* (*with family obligations on 6/4) so hit me up!! Sophie has already clued me in to some group gatherings planned in that time frame, thank you Soph.
